Even though I feel that I should do more to take advantage of the grayscale, I am going to celebrate that I finally rewrote my input function to support the TI-92p. If you want to see it for yourself, it is the second to last function defined in the nibb89.c file.
To install, just copy the following files from the zip to your 89: nibb89.89y compressed data file nibb89.89z uncompressor/execute file or, the following files to your 92p: nibb89.9xy compressed data file nibb89.9xz uncompressor/execute file
To play, just run "nibb89.ASM" on the calc.
The Options: Speed This option changes the speed at which you move around the map. Speed 2 is about normal. You will get more points though if you select a higher speed, as well as less when lower. Level If you don't want to start at level 1, then you would change that here. Note that to be able to select a certain level, you will have to start a new game on level one and beat that level first. Controls You can select normal or left/right. See "Controls" below for a description.
The Controls: arrow keys turns you in the direction you push. In "right/left" settings, you just push right or left to go right or left relative to the direction you are already moving. ENTER/2nd Selects stuff in the menu and continues in the READY/GAMEOVER screens ESC Simply exits game, up-menu, and quit program(from the main menu.) DIAMOND Turbo. Makes you go really fast so you can beat the clock. You've only got a limited amount of turbo-charge so use sparingly. Also, you can recharge by collecting the Fast-Forward item.
Items: Fast Foward rechages your turbo to full and gives you points. Note the turbo bar near your score at the bottom of the screen. Clock I'm pretty sure it gives you extra time. The clock will give you time based on the level which you are playing (Level 1 - Lots of time, Level 2 - Little time.) There is a timer bar in the bottom left corner of the playing screen.

History: v2.00 Slight name change: NibblesXX. Finally the whole game is in grayscale. Fixed up the key detection system and now the game works on the TI-92p Worked on the titlescreen and now there is a logo. Fancied up the highscore-name-entering part. Somehow the turbo bar function broke.
v1.2.1 Partialy fixed bug in options menu when changing the level. v1.2 Made the digit sprites look better and also slightly larger. Fixed bug of getting more turbo when collecting a time addition. v1.1 (Released solely to my computer projects teacher) Included the source code. Fixed problem with highscore save-to-file function. Darkend the main menu so that the contrast need not be turned down. Changed the level access so that you must get to the levels before being able to select them from the options menu. Shortend the highscore holder's name to initials so that long names would not go over the background pic. v1.0 Initial release.
Comming: External levels/level editor <- Definetly Large level support for the 92 plus Take advantage of the grayscale and add features to the snake
Known Bugs: Turbo bar dosn't work.
