I/INSTALLATION
--------------

Send the files 'hawk' and 'hawk_gfx' to your calculator with 'TI-GRAPH-LINK' or 'TI-Connect' or another program and type 'hawk()' in the HOME's screen. This program needs ~30 Kb of free RAM to be launched, so archive 'hawk' and 'hawk_gfx'. Enjoy the game !

A LITTLE PIECE OF ADVICE:
*************************

In order to economize the memory of your calculator, I recommend the very useful Flash Application 'SuperStart' created by Gregory Dietsche (calc.gregd.org/). Not only it allows you to launch all the compressed programs in format 'ppg', but it allows you to launch also the programs which are over 24 Kb (without installing any Kernel). You don't need launchers like 'hawk' (~ 1011 bytes) any more.

II/GAME
-------

This game is a classical shoot-them-up with differential scrolling and beautiful graphics.
You are in the space and have a simple mission: to eliminate all the enemies who are polluting your planet. Be careful ! These enemies may have weapons too !

There are two modes: EASY and HARD. In the second one, you can earn more points but there are more enemies.
You can begin the game with 3, 4 or 5 lives: the more lives you have at the beginning, the less points you can then earn.

In the game, you can catch bonuses which can help (or disadvantage) you. There are 8 different bonuses. Their meaning:
-U: auto fire (or rapid fire unit): you no longer are obliged to release the fire key each time you want to shoot;
-1: simple canon (also default canon);
-2: double canon;
-3: triple canon;
-P: increases the shoot's frequency;
-N: first ship (also default ship);
-S: second ship (faster);
-Z: gives you ~10 seconds of invulnerability (rare).
